Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto is one of the top-selling fitness books of all time online. It's an excellent resource on nutrition, excercise, and fat loss. Tom is a natural bodybuilder and has been featured in many fitness magazines around the world for his amazing physique. He is also a certified personal trainer.
There is one downside to Burn The Fat. It's long! Really long! Although it contains tons of great information and explains everything you would ever want to know about nutrition, it will take a while to get through all of it. That said, I still have to say that Burn The Fat is the best guide to nutrition that I have ever read.
Tom goes to great lengths to make sure that you know everything it takes to build a fat loss system that is customized to you and your body type. He doesn't try to sell you on a one-system fits all approach.
I highly recommend Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle to all of my friends. I just warn them in advance that it will take a week or so to read all of it.
